wow, nice!
-
And to think we were all jealous of Twinfan's watch buying
-
Have to admit, I really liked that watch... Can't really afford that now.
-
And to think we were all jealous of Twinfan's watch buying
This is a bit like the watch situation for me... a car's for getting from A to B and I don't really give two shites what it looks like.
But never mind what I think, glad it makes you happy! :D
-
Did you win the Lottery?

Sacralige!
The Porker is for getting from A-B in style whilst having fun.
The Merc is for wafting from A-B and being practical.
The Westy is for blatting from A-A via the Yorkshire Dales with a manic grin on your face.
The Juno is for bending the space/time continuum whilst scaring yourself silly travelling in circles.
Cars are kinda my thing...

I'm old and have been working in IT for many years (also it isn't a new one and I've very much cleaned out my savings). Porker ownership is inevitable at some point.

I have to admit, I know so little about cars that I have absolutely no idea what the last two are....
Sorry!
-
bootyfull :o

A Cayman. A nice choice. Red.. not so much. A Porsche. Awesome.
Some say Porsches are the answer to a mid-life crisis.

Beautiful :)
-
Blimey, you really are into cars aren't you?! :D
-
Nice car- I hope you have great fun driving it.
-
Looks awesome!
I'm looking to get more into my cars but not really in a position financially atm to do much about it
Me and my dad have spoken about buying an old muscle car between us and working on it for a laugh (he's worked with engines for his job for the last 40 years), so maybe that'll happen
-
Make it so. Working on cars is strangely theraputic.

Still, an example to us all in how to spend your money when your older, you can't take it with you after all!
Good on you :D
Lovely Porsche, but gassing for that Westfield!

New photies.
Now after a tank of fuel (I haven't been out of it since buying it) it was already mucky, so cleanage was required. Gave me an excuse to go a bit mad then take it out again... to take some nice piccies.

Uber shininess achieved. I can report 3 stonechips found and de-tarred. Garages fail at cleanage.
Interesting thing of note. The wheels are so mahoosive that you can actually clean the inside of them and the calipers... handy though I'd prefer the smaller ones for a more compliant ride.
