OK I heard a version of Warpigs done in a bluegrass style last night. Has anybody else heard it or know who did it?
I also heard Whole Lotta Love in a reggae style, so I presumed that was Dread Zeppelin. The DJ is heavily into reggae, but plays in pub where loads of people into rock drink. I've heard him play a reggae version of Pink Floyd's Money before (think more bass on the intro).

Hayseed Dixie id guess
they did an album of rock bluesgrass covers (and some of their own originals).
Pretty cool band :)

Does sound like Hayseed Dixie.
The best one (coming out) is going to be an album of Country songs in a metal stylee, sung by none other than Jeff Walker of Carcass fame, and guest musicians from Bill Steer to that bloke out of H.I.M.!
Should be...erm...interesting. ;)

I saw Hayseed Dixie at Glastonbury this summer. They were great and boy can they play. They did all this cool two of them playing the same banjo at the same time stuff. Did a cover of hells bells with a hotel reception dinger instead of a big bell. Great stuff.

aye, Hayseed Dixie, from the album 'A Hot Piece Of Grass'.
they do 'Black Dog' and 'Whole Lotta Love' on it as well.

Hayseed Dixie do a nice "Ace of Spades" as well. I always kinda felt that would make a good country tune :)
