Right i have been searching for weeks on this subject to find people asking questions in really old posts on forums and never getting answers or people stating something does it but not saying what and the threads are a couple of years old so get no response.
I know this can be done with a G major or a voodoo labs amp switcher
but that requires me spending a ton on a rack fx unit then a midi floorboard and its just a bit over the top for what i need.
I have read in one of the posts that there is a Korg unit that can do this in the patch changes rather than using modelling.
So what i have is a Marshall TSL 601 that has a Din connector for channel/reverb/fx loop switching
there are 3 channels but i only really need to switch between 2.
The reason i want a actual unit similar to the pod xt live is for simplicity
i dont want to be messing around for hours setting up rack gear with a seperate controller and i definitely dont want to be paying the huge prices that come with it.
I just want to play with minimal fuss.
Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this.
Thanks in advance
Tony

I don't actually understand what you're asking, so I can't help I'm afraid.....

You want this (http://www.rocktron.com/products/controllers/patchmateloop8/). Or this (http://www.rocktron.com/products/controllers/patchmateloop8floor/index.php).
You can get the older, disco'd model on ebay for a song, too.

that is what i meant
saves me from the pedal tap dance.
Looks like i have to get the x3 live for it as all the other floor multi fx dont have an fx loop on them

You should have put the video up in your first post, and maybe worded it better ;)
Glad you found a solution though :)

Yeah i only just found this video over the last few days.
And i am very sorry for the confusing way i worded it
