Title: 1953 fender Princeton...
Post by: gingataff on May 30, 2010, 01:45:56 PM
I saw an old wide panel Fender Princeton in a shop today, the sign said it's a '53.

I wonder what a fair price would be for one of these, assuming it's been recapped etc (I couldn't see inside but it's been given some Sovteks PDT_038 so I can only assume the worst)?

I've seen 'em go for $3000 to $4000 on various vintage sites.

Not cheap, but an amp like that will help you to score (with chicks).

Well, my gf did think it was quite cute.

btw it was about $1400 so quite a bit less than the ones Elliot has seen, but I'm not sure I can afford/justify it anyway.
