Title: Which pickup for this tone ?

Hi,

i need your help for choosing a good set of replacement PUs for my Yamaha AES 720

The guitar is a Korean made set neck Les Paul with Mahogany Body and Mahogany Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard.

It plays great and is well built but i hate the Sound of the Pickups (a pair of Dimarzio Super 2), they sound way too dark and dull ..

The sound i am after ..  my ideal sound would be a sound like

but also capable of an more Hard-Rockish Tone

A Vintage sounding Les Paul Tone  with enough Power for a biting 80ies Metal Sound .. maybe thats a good description.
I mostly play Eb Standard Tuning or E Standard.  Nothing else.
Not a Nu Metal Sound with a Drop B Tuning...
