Title: Counting crows
Post by: dd6094 on June 12, 2010, 01:03:22 PM
Hi, I have a PRS McCarty gold top with stock P90's. Looking for a counting crows grind feel for my 2nd guitar. Needs to be not a million miles away in terms of balance from the Nailbomb PRS SC245 (know it will be lower, just don't want a complete drop out in drive/volume) so that amp settings don't require a major over haul between tracks.

Thinking P91 bridge,
P91 neck or P90?

Any other reccomendations?

Thanks
James

I've had a set of regular P90s and they were some of my favourite pickups.  Hot P90s never relaly do it for me, as they get too 'busy' for want of a better term!

I'd recommend a set of P90s, they're plenty beefy enough  :)
