http://www.carvinguitars.com/wireless/
seems odd. I wonder if it will affect us over here at any point
carvin seem to be being pretty good about it - 'keep your illegal equipment and we will give you $100 credit'... nice

that is a pretty dumb move by the FCC unless only a limited number of wireless systems use that frequency band. I'm not sure what is most common or what is used in the UK tbh.
In the near future the Analog TV bandwidth will be sold off here to a number of telecoms people I guess.
I should remember but I can't recall what frequencies that takes up. It's all managed pretty closely

We have the same problem brewing over here
I'm sure you can find out about it if you google for it

I had a look.
In the UK we had a move towards licensing wireless microphones etc but in europe they want to use similar frequencies ranges for mobile devices, or something like that, which would cause a problem potentially. cheers mainland europe. Licensing makes sense. wireless equipment has its uses but the electromagnetic spectrum is only so big.
I'm not into all this 29th gen phone nonsense. give me two cups and bit of string, or a smoke signal any day.
I often wonder about when people talk about living under pylons and radioactivity from mobile phones, just how much people are aware of transmissions going on around them at all kinds of powers and frequencies.
for example... one day in work we lost some channels because a guy building the Westfield Shopping Centre had parked the cab of his crane directly in the path of a highly directional line of sight microwave link. So he was sat stopping some TV, and getting blasted by microwaves at the same time... catch ya later sperm count!

This is why you get something like an AKG wireless system which has multiple frequencies for both the US and Europe.

And which of these would you recommend? :)

Dumb question, but what would happen if you still used it. Would the wireless mess with the mobile phone or the mobile phone with the wireless or would both have problems working?
My parents have used an old wireless phone for years which was rendered "illegal" at some point and never knew it.
EDIT: I guess nobody really knows. :-(
