Hi folks!
So i have an American Standard Tele with dual humbuckers (which i am looking to replace) that i just purchased. I've wanted to try some BKP's in a guitar for some time now, and thought this would be a good project. It's got an alder body, maple neck and rosewood board. I'm looking for something that would work well for this guitar, i play stuff along the lines of Failure, A Perfect Circle, Isis, Cult of Luna, etc, so some heavier stuff but not really full on grinding all the time. This is also my first alder-bodied guitar, so i don't know if i need something that will push the mids a bit as well. Any info/advice is appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Forgot to add i had been looking at the Nailbomb and the Holy Diver (talking about bridge). Other references for playing material would be stuff like Muse, Alkaline trio, Placebo....so a variety of tones and definitely some heavy stuff, just not too over the top heavy, as i like to clean up sometimes as well. also any recommendations for this axe in the neck position are welcome too. Thanks!

I think for Muse and stuff like that the Holydiver or the Nailbomb could be the bomb. You can email Tim at BKP. He always comes up with good advice, I experienced. By the way, also take a look at the Crawler. Awesome pickup.

I think the Holy Diver would suit you great. If I'm not wrong it really goes well with alder. Like Telerocker said the Crawler might be something too as it's a very versatile pickup.
Anyways rule number one: Ask Tim. :D

Crawlers in my PRS Custom 24 - amazing pickups. I have BK Blackguard Flat 50's in my tele - also amazing!
