Title: C-Pig / Pig-90 Combo - Prog Sludge Metal
Post by: Tricalibur on June 30, 2010, 04:18:36 PM
This is my new EP, "Artists of War." It was recorded with my Warpig loaded SG on the left channel, and an Epiphone LP Custom with stock pups on the right. After all of the mixing, they don't sound all that different, but you can definitely tell that the Pigs are more heavy in the low mids and bass, while the stock pups are more midrangey and attackey.

Tracklist:
1. The Judge (Artists of War)
2. Eight Headed Fire-Dragon
3. Warbird

All were recorded the same way and were intended to be listened to in succession (especially the last two which crossfade into one another). For teh best effect I would recommend listening through the Soundclick player on my myspace page:

www.myspace.com/dyingworld (http://www.myspace.com/dyingworld)

Alternatively, you can go directly to the Soundclick Page (http://www.soundclick.com/bradolsen) where the EP can be purchased or streamed. There's also some additional information on the songs along with lyrics.

Critiques are welcome and will gladly be returned! Thanks.

Sounds a lot like High on Fire. Cool.

I hope you don't take offense, but the gruff vocals are a bit weak and the high vocals very weak and really let things down, a strong vocalist and this could be great.
