Loving that Custom, Don! Don't forget to bring it up when you visit sometime ;)

Thanks guys. This is what's left after selling quite a few over the past 2 years... I'm hoping I won't have to sell anything else.
Dave. Sure thing, when I finally make it up to see you I'll load the boot up. :)

:D result!

I'll take the Yam SG, thank you very much.
And quite possibly the Tele - that config makes me very excited - humbucker with a locking trem...
-
Love what you've done to that Mk50H. And that's a really nice LP Standard. What is it, just a standard that has aged by itself or is it some kind of custom job?
-
Mr. Bump - yeah cheers, both great guitars. The SG maybe too blingy for some but it really is top drawer. The stock spinex pick ups must have been designed for that guitar for sure because I've tried many combinations inc. Gibson, SD's and BKP's and the stock pick ups are back in there. The hybrid Tele is a real working guitar, truely the most versatile guitar I've owned and quite simply the best player. Nearly traded recently for either a Suhr Standard or a Tyler... ended up bringing the wayne back because although not a flash it just fits me better. I was left somewhat disapointed to be honest but happy I had tried them back to back.
Hunter - Thanks. That one is a Page model that had all the guts ripped out and has R.S Guitarworks pots and wiring and a BKP Crawler and SD Antiquity installed. The previous owner started the aging process and basically I've just played it like I stole it. As long as the set up/ playability is good, it's not structurally damaged and sounds good I can't say I pamper it. It is ageing nicely and getting better with age... my main gigging guitar these days.

Lovely Pagey Les Paul - how do you get on with the plastic saddles on the ABR-1 bridge? I have plastic ones on G,B & E strings on my 63 SG which is being restored. They always seemed to be a bit of a tonekiller and as you can see below they wore quite badly and I ended up cutting a second groove in each as the original grooves got too big. I've bought some plastic replacements for authenticity but might go for nickel plated brass like the other 3.

Tellboy, to be honest I don't know much about the material the saddles are made of, but I do know it's an old ABR1 bridge unit. They are very hard and I don't experience any lack of tone or sustain, and the bonus is that I don't break as many strings as one the '57 R.I. It also has some older Grovers which still in good order. The one thing it does need is a new nut, I reckon by the end of the year it will be due. I had the guitar off a mate who was a guitar store manager who hit some hard times just at the time I sold my '59 R.I so I snapped it up.
