I can't play YouTube in work, but assuming it's Bruce Franklin he normally plays an early '60s SG Junior.
-
What a band!
It's a junior yeah, dunno what era.
-
I really like his playing!
Philly - aren't you selling an SG Junior at the moment?

Yeah, a Tokai - sold it a few weeks ago to a chap in Germany.

Damn!
Thanks Philly!

Gratuitous picture opportunity (this one's been seen almost as often as Dave's - then Ian's - old Signature LP)

Agreed 100%! :D

certainly looks like a pretty straight up, stock early 60s SG junior to me.
I think they changed to the batwing pickguard in '66/'67, and it doesn't appear to have the Les Paul script on the headstock which the '61 - '63 SG's had, so its got to be somewhere between '63 and '66 imo (unless its a reissue).
