Ever since PRS released charcoal burst singlecuts I've had more Gas than an incontinent 90 year-old!
Then this popped up used at a PRS dealer and I knew it had to be mine. For those that dont know its a PRS Tremonti signature with a 10 top.
When I went to look at it/pick it up It looked brand new! When I had a chat with the guys from the shop they said a regular PRS collector had it for less than a month in his collection (of over 50 PRS's!!!!!!) and ended up trading it in for a private stock. It was so pristine I doubt it was taken out of its case more than once or twice.
As for the sound its slightly thicker than my other tremonti mkII but this through a Mesa MkV absolutely kicked ass. aggressive, tight (once i turned the bass down!) and crunchy.

Looks great!

Cheers Twinfan, I couldn't believe how good it looked when i picked it up out of the case. You cant really see from the pics but the dark part of the burst is translucent and the flame continues into it.
I would say its the last guitar I will buy for a while but we both know how long that lasts for! lol

Very nice, a friend's got one just like it and it's certainly breathtaking.

Fine looking guitar!
Do you find there's much difference in tone/sustain between the trem model and the hardtail?
-
That do look mighty classy :D
And no (Philly etc), that does not mean I am veering towards wanting a PRS

Both of the trem tremonti's I've got the treble is a little more rounded/less aggressive and a little middier were as the hard tail is bigger in the low end and more aggressive but all three have a very similar character.
I'll sort a group shot tonight :P
