Title: NGD

After a trip to the local guitar shop and a  £300 kick in the nuts to my bank account, I came home with the kind of guitar that a few years ago, I would have hated...something...Les Paulish...

It's a nice Tanglewood TSB 58 in Honey Burst. It's got a the usual Les Paul type features: solid mahogany body and neck, with set in construction, a flamed maple veneer, 2 humbuckers (Entwistle HV58) with seperate volume and tone for each and a 22 fret rosewood fretboard. A side note, it seems a little lighter than the Epiphone Les Pauls and such.

Finnish and setup all seem to be in order. I've not spotted any flaws in is finnish or construction and it doesn't feel like it will need any adjustments to make it playable. I it may of course have been set up in the shop before going on the shelf.

I won't mention sound here since A) I only got it today and B) I suck at describing sounds well. All I'll say is it gives a good clear sound, nothing muddy and or harsh like some other stock pickups I've had (looking at you Mighty Mites from my Cort).

And here's a picture of the whole bunch:

From left to right: Indie Swamp 4, Epiphone SG Prophecy EX, Tanglewood TSB 58, Cort X-11(w/BKP NB/CS) and an Ibanez BTB775PB.

Looks good though I am looking at the pictures on my notebook. I'll look again later on my main computer.

Thanks, I'd been after a more "classic" styled guitar for a while now and this seems to fit that nicely. All I need to do now is save for some BKPs to complete it (and to remove those EMGs in the Epiphone).
