Received a PM asking for another High Gain demo so, evil as it is to use a tele for this, here is a quick recording of the first section of Slayer - Spill The Blood, which amply demo's how flexible these pickups are. Three gigs down with these pickups and they are incredible and will play EVERYTHING!
Same gear as other demo's - Line 6 Flextone III, Soldano type amp, no effects (other than reverb and a bit of chorus at the start) but the overdrive is the amp.

Twang-lovers look away!! Excuse the playing, took a notion to have a go at it after coming across a demo of it being played even more poorly (note me reading the tab found 10 minutes before - spent longer looking for the CD!)...

Sounded good to me - and left me with no doubt that BG50s can handle a bit of dirt!

Lol - kind of where mine comes from - not really intending to use it for Slayer!!

Sounds evil - Teles can be badass and this aptly shows it. I've started using my Tele much more this year, I love how much clarity the notes have and how much better the cleans are than my Les Paul (my Tele has a P90 and a Esquire type of bridge p/up). Push some dirt into the amp via an OD-1 and its not that far off my Les Paul for sheer grunt.

is this the bridge or series position?
phat tone bruv!

Bridge :-)
