Right, I've been offered a JCM900 SL-X for £270, I'm very keen on this amp as it has a better sound than my current rig (JTM600 and behringer cab). And yes, I do plan on getting a better cab once I have a better head!
Now, does anyone know how much a JTM600 is worth, and most importantly, does anyone want to buy it?

have you had a look on ebay to see what similar amps are going for?
-
go for it, the sl-xs are much better than the other 900s (they use an extra preamp tube instead of diode clipping)

I can't find any other versions of the jtm600 on the 'bay!
I'm gunna pull the trigger on the sl-x, and hopefully a cab, and then work my way into something like an 800!

That's a great deal on the SL-X, if you pass then let me know. The only weak feature is the same as most current production amps - the output tranny is a bit wimpy, I generally upgrade to an OEI unit in serious gigging amps for tone and reliability reasons.

Buy it!

seems like a bloody great deal to me - acouple of years back MG50DFX solid-state cr@ppers were selling for just a bit less that!
