Hey guys!
I am getting Ibanez RGD 2127Z very soon and thinking about which pickup color to choose.
Here is the guitar:

What you guys think - white / red / green? Blue or yellow would look weird I think. I really dig red or white.
Would appreciate your opinions :D
BTW, if there is someone with good photoshop skill, maybe guitar picture can be easily adjusted to reflect the color of pickups? Would be fantastic if someone could do this (if its time consuming, don't bother).
Cheers

Personally I would not choose any color because the RGD has a matte black finish and the BKP colored coils have quite bright and flashy colours...
I would go with black (or maybe white)
-
White would look badass! Go for it! :D

I think white would be cool, but for some reason that damn cosmo black HW is throwing it off in my head. What about Red/Black zebra? I'm always putting the noisiest possible colors on my axes. I have this (http://www.bcrich.com/gunslinger_retro.asp) (yeah, the neon green one...) with a bright red Holydiver in it!
What about aged nickel??

Hey!
this is quick chop job but i agree with the red and black. it looks quite devilish this way. was inspired by the voodoo explorer with red and black pups (freeman's i think?)
if you have any other colors you're curious about i have a template ready for quick coloring :D

Thank you for opinions, everyone!

Ah, neon green is badass color indeed!
Aged nickel goes only with cover, as I understand. I want to go with open pups =)

Man, thank you so much for doing this painting! Red/black zebra looks pretty cool indeed. If it won't take much of your time, could you please do full red set, then full white set and finally black-white zebra with white outside? That would be awesome!

Aww, no covers? Really? :(
Thing would look killer with battleworn black covers. I'm GASing for and should get a quote on a nice thin Jazzmaster (minus the pickguard) shape axe in that finish with a set neck, black hardware and battleworn black coldsweats. I mean, dang.

I duno, I am kinda skeptical about covered pups. Wouldn't they eat frequencies, especially highs?
But yea, battleworn black would be killer. Yet again, black is everywhere. I think its good idea to add some colors to the instrument =)

PRAISE TREY AZAGTHOTH!. Get Green Coils. Or go for distressed ;)

Yep, that's what I'd do... :)

They're wound slightly differently to compensate... ;)

Ah, I see. Didn't know this. I will consider getting covered ones then, perhaps.
Still wish to hear opinions on colors, though :D

I'll say black battle worn as well or maybe black covers without pole pieces or allen bolts.
-
black covers and double allen bolts all the way (depending on which pickup you're putting in there, that is).
That is a damned fine looking axe :)
