Played in one go, added a little verb afterwards, delay is in the loop of the amp, bit of Retrosonic Phaser up front the amp in the beginning and RMC3 Wah in the bridge.
In the solo I didn't know what I was doing many times, not sure what kind of scale to play, so I just let it flow :)
It's an SM57 in front of the 73 Marshall cab. Volume is TV-ish.
Using the Miracle Man on most parts, just in the beginnign it's the RY.

Not my general taste of music but its very thick and creamy. MM seems to cope well with sg's . Did not like it on les paul but it appears I was right thinking its more than a metal pickup. Can be very smooth and warm too.
Now go metal hunter, wanna hear the mk on fire ! :D

Ok dude, just for you. I am really not at home with recording that much gain though. In the room it sounded smashing but somehow I fail to get it on "tape". Guess on this vintage cab the different speakers all sound different, which gives a rich sound that gets lost when you mike only one of them.
Guess this is too much gain/too fizzy but hard to tell as this is not where I'm at home tone wise.
Edit: I think I should get the Bogner cab for this kind of recording and a second mic for the room?

Actually I played again this morning at very very low volume, and it's the first time since I sold the Shiva, that I had an amp that gave me a similar tone and feel.
Major difference though that the Mk50 has more gain and can do metal, which the Shiva can't.
I also love how every guitar sounds drastically different. Gotta post some Strat and Les Paul clips soon to show what I mean.
