Mulling over a random addition to the pedal board
I want something simple for subtle 2 stage phase effects
Maybe truebypass, maybe not.
Phase 45
DOD 201
Toneworks Nebula
Anyone got any thought on the above?
up to £100 new or used

I'll lend you my MojoHand Nebula if you want a go to see how it works with your new amp.

Retro Sonic for me.
Here is one that just went for roundabout your budget: http://cgi.ebay.at/Retro-Sonic-Phaser-True-Bypass-no-MXR-Boss-Ibanez-/160460853485

The Retro-Sonic is definitelaty a great phaser. I love the whole range. I also got and old Ibanez 9-series that can produces some wicked tones too. Da great funk-machine.

Cheers lads, should be practicing today, but I'm off pedal hunting instead :)

Not sure if it's what you're after, but I have red Witch Moon Phaser on my board, and I use it loads. Loads of very cool phase and tremolo sounds, and a pretty good Leslie-type sound too.
Mark.

If you can track down a used Phase 45 on ebay at a decent price then it's a very good pedal. I hacked my Phase 90 to make it 2/4 stage switchable, and I really like how it sounds close-ish to a Phase 45. It you have a Phase 90 it's worth considering doing it.

I love Phase 45s too, not so keen on Phase 90s - that 2/4 stage mod sounds like the way to go (need to pull out the schematics).

i wouldn't mind the schemo for the 2/4 stage mod if anyone can provide :D

ops sorry the retro sonic is 4 stage, I don't even know my own pedal LOL
By the way it does a very nice "black hole sun" rotary on higher speeds as well!

I like it.. it is like Pain of Salvation on drugs going crazy
