Title: Mothers Milk neck to go with Yardbird bridge in a tele?
Post by: palbjorno on September 10, 2010, 12:11:02 PM
I was thinking of putting a Mothers Milk in the neck of my tele with a Yardbird bridge. I will be using it with a 4-way switch. Should i get it RW/RP?

Thanks

sounds like a good combo

i have a bg flat 50 bridge and irish tour in the neck in a strat i own. works well with a 4 way - don't get rw/rp in that case though, it sounds weird then.

The only reason I considered rw/rp was humcanceling in the series position, but if it sounds weird I'll go for standard wound.

Thank you

rwrp works well in the parallel position, but not in the series - it gets very muddy. i tried this once.
