Title: Painkiller Humbucker
Post by: Bowser on September 10, 2010, 04:34:33 PM
can anyone tell me what the resonant peak of the Painkiller is? i have one in my RGA121 and the treble is too much. if i know what the resonant peak of the PK is, it would help me find a better match for that guitar.

come on, i'm not that new to pickups. i mean, i did go with Bareknuckles!  8)

i've taken them through the entire range of adjustment (which isn't much on this guitar, being body mounted) and i'm ready to go with something else.

Can you adjust the guitar with the toneknob? What about new capacitors? Heavier strings? I don't know if guitar and amp match, but maybe you can tweak the amp?
