Just a thought.. Alder body strat / maple neck strat with hard tail going into a Blackstar combo - which BKP humbucker would be best for Badlands / Jake e lee tones? I am guessing 'Holy Diver' because of the whole 80's rock / KB /Superdistortion thing - Any thoughts? Also, Jake used to use 2 super distortion s/c's in neck and middle. Do you think that these would work with a BKP or would I be better to go with a BKP equivalent s/c?

There's a forum member who has at least two Jake-inspired hardtail Strats. One had a Holy Diver and two Slowhands, the other had two DiMarzio SDS-1s, I'm not sure about the bridge pickup.
He doesn't post nowadays but if you search you should be able to find his comments. Name of Woogie.
Based on that, I think HD is probably the way to go.

Yeah - Holy Diver ...or Rebel Yell would work too

For the bridge, I agree with Feline - it's a toss up between Holy Diver or Rebel Yell (depends how bright your guitar is & how fat you want the lower mids)
But for the singles, I'd disagree with the Slowhand recommendation - thinking back to when Jake used to play the intro to "Killer of Giants" live (which is about the onlytime I can remember seeing/hearing him use the singles), the slowhands aren't anywhere near bright enough.
Also, I have an HD/Slowhands HSS combo in my Jackson SL3 & the Sh's don't balance with the HD particularly well.
If you must go with Slowhands, then at least get the optional baseplate - gives them a little more "oomph".
But I'd say Irish Tours or even Trilogies are a far better bet. My own preference would be for Trilogies - great single coils, don't have the "pop" of ITs, fatter & more powerful, balance great with teh HD but still sound like single coils.
