Title: Roobaby in battle of the bands shock sensation!

Thursday 16th, Hobgoblin in Bicester, 13Gauge are playing in heat 7 of round 1 of the bicester battle of the bands!

If anyone is in the area and fancies coming down, it should be a good night (free entry, 4 bands).

If not, wish me luck anyway :)

Anyway, congratulations. I'm kinda with nfe on stuff like this. I did a couple of contests when I was young, and I'm the sort of person who experiences untold additional pressure if it's performance in a contest environment with a panel of "possibly ill-qualified talking-heads" as judge and jury :lol:

Either you guys are fab, or the other acts were even more dire on the night , or .... (I know, let me save you the trouble of typing it Roo: "they were all playing telecasters, what can you expect?" :lol:)...

However it was, it takes a bit to put yourself through this kind of thing anyway, win or lose. And you must've done something right to get through to the semis...

so - "yee-hah!" :D
