Well, after a long waited 2 weeks my Holy Diver (Bridge) and Mule (Neck) came in the mail a few days ago. I quickly went home to put them in my Les Paul to replace my 498T/490R como (they were good, but no note clarity and note defintion).
I love these pickups! The Diver sounds similar to the 498t IMO but alot tighter and clearer, and a bit more tamed on the highs and lows, with more mids than the 498T. It handles gain very well, and didnt get out of control like the4 498t, which would just turn into a fizzy mess.
As for the Mule, MUCH better than the 490R. The Mule is an all around awesome pickup. I got some nice distortion leads from it, but clean and low gain settings is where it really shines. It sounds so clear and warm, but can also sound sparkly and bright.
Overall, I'm very happy with the pickups i chose. The next set i want to try are the Cold Sweats! :D

Congrats. It is easy to get pinched harmonics from the HD?

So a mule in the neck,I have not considered that combo. I know I'm going with the HD in the bridge of my 06' LP standard but, I was thinking a VH II in the neck, maybe you could post some clips when you get around to it and help me out :D.

I have a Crawler at the bridge of my customstrat and it is awesome. Thick, organic with a great growl. I read they do very well in LP's too, but maybe the Crawler is very close to the HD. I don't have experience with it.

Wow yes. I bet the MXR helps a bit too, but great pinched harmonics.
