hello everyone i'm a newbee in BKP and i need some advises for choosing a BK to replace the SD full-shred of my Ibanez prestige (basswood). I play heavy styles (brutal death, grindcore...) with down and drop tunnigs. Witch pickup should i choose (ceramic warpig, nailbomb or painkiller) to have a very loud and hard sound in drop A tunning while remaining accurate ?

The Ceramic Warpig would be best suited to the description you have provided. It has a huge sound, very saturated and great bass response with mid range grind and bite.
The Ceramic magnet will help keep tone definition and articulation when using drop tuning.

I've got a ceramic warpig in my les paul - its pretty muddy man for death/grind.
As the post before said it does have a huge sound - it will pump out huge gain - even more so if you've already got a high gain amp so it might sound too saturated.
imho I would figure you would want something more tight and concentrated like the painkiller!

Thanks for advices guys. I've asked Tim about my problem and he advised me the PK so i've listened to the master and bought it ^^.
But it's sure that i'll try the C-pig in an other guitar in the future.

Really? Seriously? Are you certain? Soundclips? REALLY? Amp used? EQ settings? SERIOUSLY? My C-Pig is not muddy at all. Admittedly my ESP Horizon is considerably more bright than a Les Paul, but the difference isn't really that much in the grand scheme of things.

C-Pig is the correct answer.
Not a muddy pickup at all - not as articulate as some, but in the grand scheme very clear. Perhaps, brainchild, your LP is especially dark sounding? I've had a C-Pig in several guitars, and while I stopped using them because they arent utterly mercilessly defined, they werent muddy at all.
