hi all, usa strat with IT's using position 1&2 .respect to nile rodgers, the greatest ever funkster.

yep, flares, flyaway collar and a golden coke spoon hanging round my neck.....and an afro!

Sorry for getting in late here Gordiji, but that was very nice indeed.

I like how you held down a very fluid, silky , Funkaaay  yet disciplined and even groove in the build up ( obviously a good ensemble player ) - then gave us that melifluous solo, in the same ' tight but loose' style .  It's nice to hear some 'Old Skool' stuff - especially when it reveals a mastery of a more demanding rhythmic and sensuous style.  I was caught in music , caught in a trap ...  8)

( Now where are my 'Bootsy' glasses ? )

And I can confirm folks, that yes, ITs can do this kinda tone very easily...

- but you gotta bring a little something of your own to the party to make it happen quite like this (either that, or my set is defective in some way! :lol:)
