I've got an Edwards Les Paul Custom (Sykes model) that I'd like to put some BKPs in, as the Duncan Distortions are too darn thin and harsh, especially since I put a Miracle Man set in my Charvel SoCal. Cold Sweats would be an obvious choice, I suppose. This Edwards is much lighter than a Gibson, probably due to the Asian mahogany used in the body and neck, and appears to be brighter-sounding, too. Probably going to test it with the MM set from the Socal, as I've read a few rave reviews on HC about folks putting MMs in Gibson LPs. If anybody has gone with a ceramic BKP on their Edwards LP, like to hear your input/opinions....

I just moved a cold sweat set into my '73 lp custom and it was a big improvement over a motor city set and the nailbomb set it had before
I was avoiding that combination cause I didn't want to follow the obvious Sykes path for my main guitar, but I had that set in a les paul copy for years
but my '73 is quite dark and focused
very dense sounding
you should try the miracle man first, imo

Eric thanks for the info. Guess I'll try the MM set. The bridge is F-spaced but should be able to get a general idea how they sound in the Edwards.
