Just arrived from the States - they are a bugger to get hold of in this country...
Initial impressions are that it's a pretty damn cool pedal... I've been wanting an old school treble boost for ages, and this one is awesome - 3 band EQ plus a switch that toggles between "lo fi" and "hi fi". Effectively low and high gain, although the the "hi fi" setting has LOADS of bottom end!
Main reason to buy it was to run it though my Orange to get a real 1970s heavy sound. Haven't done that yet - that's tomorrow's plan if the wife lets me sneak upstairs after taking the boy to football.
Sabbath here we come!!!

Way cool. Congrats!

... actually, I have a question for those wot know better than me...
This unit is 9v, but requires a positive tip power supply - anyone know if I can do this with my 1Spot? Is there an adapter of some sort that I can use?
Cheers.

As long as it's the only pedal you use, yes. Just reverse the polarity of the 1spot (swap + and -).
With multiple pedals you need a supply with isolated outs to run different polarities with one unit.

Arse. Thanks, Hunter.
Would other power supplies allow them all to be used together? The Fuel Tank for example?

Not the Fuel Tank as it has no isolated outs. You will get a short if you try it with the FT (had that happen to me).
With a PedalPower 2+ for example it won't be an issue.

Would one of there adaptors work?

Yes they work as long as you use separate or isolated outlets for the two polarities.

OK!!!
First rehearsal with Fallen Poets and the new Germania 44.
Awesome.
Was running my Yam SG200 with Mules through the Germania and into the Egnater Renegade. It was a mindblowing sound - Germania set to Lo Fi, eq set fully to the right with the gain at 12:00, and the sound was huge - a really thick, Sabbathy wall of tone. Clicking over to the red channel on the Eggy, and the "lead" sound was amazing!
It's a keeper, that's for sure.
Best thing about it, apart from that red channel tone, is the way it responds to the guitar volume. Such sweet tones when you roll the volume back to 8/9.
Great pedal. Really great.

I've got most of the HBE line but the Germania is 1 I've not tried yet.
Glad you like it! :D

AND...
Final post on this topic, but I played my first gig with it last night at the Box Club in Chelmsford, and I don't think that it was a coincidence that it was our BEST GIG EVER!
This pedal is SERIOUSLY good!
