Title: The Warpig Gets Festive!
Post by: blackout on December 19, 2005, 11:11:16 PM
Haha, I just couldn't resist doing this. I even made drums for it. Everything apart from the lead in the middle is done with my warpig, as usual. Enjoy! And a heavy merry christmas to all!

I think someone needs to do a festive song for each pickup! I did the Mule, now the Warpig has been done! Someones gotta do it

Great tone there, it sounds like the perfect metal tone! I agree with 38th, the drums sound good! How do you program beats like that?

I recorded 3 rhythm tracks using the triple rectifier model on my podXTlive. The lead was the same patch but using my stock epiphone neck pickup. I recorded it using the line in on my soundcard with audacity (free recording program, google it). And finally the drums were done with acoustica beatcraft.

Wow. I have a Boss GT-3 and my rectifier emulator sounds like trash compared to yours. Maybe I'm setting something up wrong but their is no way in hell I can get a sound like that out of the pedal.

WOA there people!

This isnt my clip!

It just stuck in my memory from last year, so I thought a bit of threadnomancy was in order.

But, OD, my POD XT's recto setting (tredplate) sounds a lot like that with the gain about half, fairly flat EQ and 4 layers. Maybe you do have the wrong modeller ;)

Eh well, I've been playing around and it's too late at night to try them out but their output settings. Before it was on small amp. Lol. I remember a while ago someone said to put it on line out/headphones. I'll try that out.

Wow, threadnomancy part II!

I think this was an AV Warpig. I don't think the C-pig existed yet when this was posted.

I think it did, but it was just an oddity that Drac had.

I think it was him that got the first C-Pig, actually. But it was inevitable.

I think he mentioned word "epiphone" in some of his posts on this thread, and I don't know if they build their guitars with any other wood than mahogany :P

The bodies of epiphones are often alder and alder sandwhiches  :P
