I've bought the Ultra Wah pedal for my son and for the price I am impressed by the built quality... yeah it's plastic but it looks sturdy enough to take some serious punishment.
But what about the tone? Well... used to DOD, Boss, Keeley and other pedals this pedal is almost like a joke. The sound is plasticy and cranky. The controls are temperamental and weird beheaving. It makes some really cheap, funky, lofi tones. Compared to the tone of my old DOD autowah this pedal is clearly a piece of rubbish.
I do not use pedals anymore but I like fiddling with them and this pedal does not sound serious enough at all but still I'm sure I could actually get some pretty wacky sounds and use out of it.
In a nutsell... considering the price:
construction : 8/10
tone: 4/10
useability: 6.5/10

Yeah, but these pedals are aimed at starting players. You get what you pay for. Funny, it's just sold my Emma DiscumBobulator (envelope filter/autowah) to a bassplayer who plays a Dod now. I didn't use it on stage anymore. Too much pedals etc, so had to clean up.

agreed those pedal are aimed at a certain price point - experimenters, or starters...
funny, since all the techno musicians (including me) I know are using behringer mixers and swear by them for reliability and transparency.
i think they may be aiming the bar a little too low with their guitar gear
edit: i tried a behringer guitar eq pedal once, and it was just bullshitee - very very noisy

this is not noisy just "weird".... it does not do what it said on the box. It does something different.

my boss has the green 'vintage tube overdrive' one and i found it was quite ok
