Sounds Great as is the playing .

Thanks Ronnie, I was struggling a bit on the high notes as the guitar was hanging wrong or something, I think you can hear it. The Mk50 is a smooth amp, but at the same time it's rather unforgiving.
It's the second recording I did with the Heil mic and I gotta say I love what it does!

Thx for posting. I love VHII's, great classic rock sound.

To say that I like the amp is actually quite an understatement. I really learned to appreciate the versatility of an amp without multiple channels. She is very dear to my heart :)

Hey hunter I'm hijacking a lil to ask ya which you find the most organic and meaty between the vhII and emerald bridge position ? And if you could school me a bit on vhII neck (im planning to get the same set as you have or had on your edwards les paul :))
nice thick creamy sound by the way, was that the prs ? (sounds crispy as a sg)

Yes, this is the PRS. I think the VHII is a bit more organic than the Emerald, but the Emerald is more badassssss. What I never found in any other pickup like the covered Emerald I got is how it crunches on the lower strings and is still thick on the higher notes. Mostly I find thick pickups mushy on the bass strings and crisp pickups strings up the neck, not so the Emmie.
The VHII neck is a great allrounder, does clean up very nicely too. Rather clear sounding.

Seeing your videos I understood you talk French and I'm bothering to describe sounds in english, next time ill send ya a pm. :P
by the way on the killing in the name of cover, did i dream or do you look like you were pissed at the drummer as you started the main riff ? I noticed a head move that was like 'oh noes hes going slow once more...' :P
Anyway thanks for the help, I'll put this emerald vhII combo on my les paul.
