Title: New pickups get a run out

Just back from Band Practice where i got to give my pickups a good run out....... :D
I loaded my Strat Plus with  my recent purchase of...A Sinner in the bridge and 2 Trilogies in the Middle and Neck.........
The results were amazing to say the least.
Never has my Strat and  budget Fender Performer combo sounded so good . I had a  big cheesey grin throught the whole rehearsal   The other band member commented on how good my guitar sounded..  The amp was on borrowed time and was going the journey after xmas for a new all singing valve amp. but now im having second thoughts.... the pickups have made such a dramatic differance in my sound  im  having second thoughts about a new amp.
Thanks Mr Bare Knuckle pick up you ve left me with a right quandry....
Seriously I will sing your praises to all fantastic Pickups

Sounds like my rehearsal last tuesday with the aftermaths cranked for the first time. HUGE grin on my face too :)

(But a good amp is always worth having) :)

Congrats! By the way, I think a good valve amp will improve your sound.
