Sounds very nice. Fat but clear tone. I dig it.

Thanks guys, the amp has tone to die for. Unfortunately it reveals even the smallest weakness. For the trio lineup it might be better to take an amp with more "wash", or better get my playing up to speed  8)

I am stoked about the Heil PR20, great mic, takes no time to find a good compromise between meat and cut (unlike the SM57).

Nice playing :D

It's about the only solo I've ever, EVER, learnt

What you really want is two Burns trisonics (neck and middle) in series and out of phase... and a Sixpence (that makes a bigger difference than I would have predicted)...  it doesn't matter what you do then, as long as the notes are vaguely right, it sounds like Brian May.

However, I kinda like the tone you're getting... and you can play it a lot better than I can!

Nice Brian May, Hunter. Both playing and tone.
