New Helper Day

I received the ALA-1 Loop Adapter from G-Lab.

I have many amps, and some work less well with pedals in the loop. The Cornford and the Steavens with the Providence delay for example. To get a pedalboard going that works with all amps equally, so I can swap heads without any hassle, I was looking into solutions to adjust the loops' "hotness" in signal levels. Bought a passive Ebtech Line Level Shifter, and while it works, it does suck tone IMO.

Ran across the G-Lab unit and then there was one on ebay, nobody interested in it so I snagged it at 1/2 price, new condition. It sounds absolutely transparent, and works as well amazingly well as a second master volume in the loop (for practising). A great little helper, plus you can use your loop with just one cable to the amp (cable 6m included).

At about 100€ this is hard to beat.
