Title: Highway one pickups
Post by: smudger123 on December 27, 2010, 10:58:29 AM
I've recently bought a highway 1 strat with lace sensor golds fitted, the purchase came with the original pickups which I would like to try out. But which pick up goes where? One pickup has a red and black wires, another yellow and black and the third white and black. As mine is the 'upgraded' highway 1 which comes with a RWRP middle pickup, am I therefore correct to assume:

red = bridge
yellow = middle
white = neck

The wires have been cut when they were removed from the guitar so length of wire is no help, I do not have a multimeter, so which goes where? I'm not a big fan of the Lace pickups  but I want to try out the original Alnico III pickups while I save a set of Mothers Milks

???????

Thanks for your help
