well, the subject already says everything!
i'm curious if anyone has tried both (or at least the Stockholm)... what's bassier? i love bright neck pickups, and of course i know i'd better get a regular MQ, but i want something hotter this time...

I was impressed by the Stockholm-clips. You'd better ask Nolly, he played them and he likes them much.

The Pig '90 has significantly more low end than the Stockholm, so out of the two I would suggest that. However, an option to consider would be to ask for a Supermassive neck in HS size - it'd a great halfway between the MQ and the Stockholm.
Alternatively, a Nantucket neck wind gives a brighter and more percussive neck sound than the MQ, courtesy of the AV magnet.

two neck pickups i'm really curious about are the VHII and the Riff Raff.
of course they go far beyond my original idea of a 2 p90s guitar, but they could be an interesting alternative to have a bright and definite neck tone... what do you think?

Sure, the Riff Raff neck is definitely a very defined and bright pickup.
Funnily enough I don't think of the VHII particularly as a bright neck pickup - to me the actual body of the tone it produces is quite smooth and flutey, but it does have a snappy attack that gives it the great definition.
