i am stuck between these 2 pickups to go on my gibson LP for the bridge. i play mostly hard rock and metal stuff like Metallica, Trivium, Bullet For my valentine. i love all of there tones. and i play far more rhythm stuff reahter than lead so i dont know what i should go for Warpig or Nailbomb. o yeah, clean tone isn't to important because i use the neck pickup for that. so guys could you please help me out!!

The Warpig is perfect for Metallica style riffing.

sorry - but for the bands that you've said, i'd have gone for the Miracle Man my friend.

+1 for MM, even though you don't play much lead. It's a dedicated metal bridge, and will cover all of those bands tonally, keeping the bass tight for shredding and should you want squealing fills it'll do that even better.
If you want to "chug", get the pig, and the nailbomb is a sensible option, but you'll have to wait for someone who's got one to reply. 8)

Saying 'hard rock' as well as metal makes me think nailbomb, for that vintage edge.
-
true, but it really doesnt sound like he's into the vintage thing tbh.

Go for a Miracle Man calibrated set.

Go for the Miracel Man. Its got an ultra tight bottom and to cope with the fast picking and the Palm muting and very clear high end. They were designed with LP's in mind, so I couldn't think of a better choice.

Well I have a MM and it is great for that stuff but you will have to add some extra mid on the amp as it isn't as mid orientated as the EMG's that the likes of hammet and hetfield use.
-
I wouldn't have said any of those groups have much midrange sound. Metallica were the first group I know of to go for the EMG-Boogie scooped-mid sound.

I agree - first famous group, anyway. I'd say at least the MM bridge, and if enough money either another one at the neck or a mule, like I did - versatility if you've not got a massive collection of guitars.
