Hi everybody,
A friend has just recommanded to me BK pickups to upgrade my Fender Stratocaster US standard (maple fretboard).
I've replaced the bridge pickup by a duncan SHR-1, but i'm really not satisfied by the result. I want to modidy the strat in order to be modern and quite versatile.
I play in a hard/metal band (ozzy, megadeth, metallica, accept, anvil) and I play solo shred stuff (Paul Gilbert, Dream theater). My favourite sound is the John Petrucci's one. I play sometimes blues, but i want my strat to be more metal/prog/guitar hero oriented but keep a bit of "old school" rock possiblity.
Can anyone advise ? Thank you very much for reading :-)

would suggest a Sinner set.
plenty of old skool rock possibility there!! also ideal for shredding and metal. not familiar with John Petrucci's tone, but I think you'll be happy with the Sinners.

Well, actually i'm searching more for an HSS set (i prefer a real humbucker:-) Any advice ? :)

In that case I'd go with a Holy Diver and two Sinners.

The HD is great for big smooth leads, but not as tight as the Aftermath and Warpig, what I read. I would look at these combined with Sinners.

The Alnico Warpig would have been my second suggestion with the alnico Nailbomb third. I'd say the Holy Diver if your priority is lead playing and the Warpig if you want more of the heavy, crunching rhythms.
