Hulloi! I am new.
I want to replace the stock pups in my Yamaha WGX312. It's not a bad guitar. But I know it can be better.
I've pretty much decided on an zebra Emerald for the bridge. I just want to know, will it give me the sound I'm looking for.
I've got a Roland cube-30 with a GT-8, CS-3, MXR-Phase 90, Bad-Horsie 2,
I'd like to get from a general nice clean tone, through blues, blues/rock, classic rock, metal (not new metal though),
Yes it is rather broad, but hey-ho-diddly-doo.
And a UT2K4 shock rifle for good luck

What sort of guitar is the WGX?
I have a set in a Tokai Love Rock, and they should give you everything you're after. It's an older LP replica that's quite light, but still mahogany/maple construction which seems to suit the Emerald, and it's quite a versatile pickup as it's not too hot.

Looks like the job description for the Crawler, if you ask me.

Sorry. I meant RGX.

Oh. And can you coil-tap it?

Yes, if you get the 4 conductor wiring.
