Title: Irish Tours doing some Rory and Slowhand
Post by: Ronnie Robinson on February 05, 2011, 05:02:20 PM
Just received my set of Irish Tours and had them fitted in my strat yesterday, so felt the need to record these great souding pickups.

The first is Messin with the Kid ( Rory Gallagher version) - no backing track just the Irish tours
The second is a bit of Crossroads (Clapton version)

Recorded on a Strat with Irish tours in my Blackstar valve Amp.

Nice tone. I have the IT's in my strat too and I like them for all kinds of music, from funk to Chili Peppers to blues and rock.

Cheers Guys, yes the tone is nice but the more I listen to the tracks Ive recorded the more I wish I changed how I'd played certain. Oh well....
