I kinda like it, and at £150 it's pretty cool. I saw one in a shop today. A mini body full scale bubbly Futura. I got some spare pups needing a home too. Might be ok for testing out tunings. Will save me fiddling with my Ibanez RG all the time.

You're right... I hate it
-
Fernando, you're not the only one who hates it!
-
if it doesn't say Fender on the headstock then I don't give it a second glance
but yeah, that is just a bit more hideous than average
-
not that bad
-
Not for me, but it's not too bad.

I saw those a while back and they seem good value & fun... BUT...
I was really disappointed with the headstock because I'd love to get out the gaffa tape and some white paint rattle cans and do a dirt cheap Matthias Jabs tribute!
Bloody 3 aside headstock

Loving or hating the guitar style aside, given the specs, would a holy diver bridge sit ok in this? Ive only had the HD in my USA strat and a cheap strat body before (great in both). My strat is back to factory hardware now and cheap strat has tuning problems so i don't play it much.
Im betting the factory ceramic pickups are loud and crunchy but not much else.

Congrats on the new guitar. I dont mind it to be honest and for the price looks intresting (£150).
Enjoy

havent bought one yet. i just think its a bit a of steal for a spare guitar for messing about on. they have a faded cherry gibson LP Studio in there that caught my eye too. but thats nearly £700. i bet it weighs 5x the weight of this guitar too lol.

It's not hideous. For a cheap starter guitar to get kids interested (and as an alternative to cretinous arseholes buying them telecasters thinking they won't make their children look like c*nts), it could be a lot worse.

Well i checked it out and had a closer inspection of it today. It played quite well even tho it wasnt particularly well set up. It would make a great starter guitar for somebody but for me to fork out on it, it was let down by a couple of needless manufacturing faults. The pickup rings were out of line so that the poles on the neck pup were out of line with the strings. Annoying.
Anyway. I also had a go on the Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Cherry that they had in store and i think I'm in love! :D
