Title: Piledriver goodness. All-out Piledriver mayhem!
Post by: ChrisTM on February 14, 2011, 02:01:58 AM
So, I've been recording songs to and from using my Piledriver-equipped pinecaster and felt like theese needed to be uploaded on here for you guys to see what a genious of a pickup this is.

Excuse the mixing/mastering-quality on most songs, I never really cared to perfect them since I have a studio session booked for most songs this spring where i'll be using "real stuff".

All of theese clips are recorded using a Piledriver BRIDGE pickup, a Line6 GuitarPort along with Superior Drummer 2.0
Dual-tracked only. One guitar per side. No quad-squading here.

Cheers!

The Black Dahlia Murder-esque (Deathcore?)

another rough draft of a deathmetal-song. This pickup really GRINDS!

Another oldie i found lying around, tried to make some kind of atmospheric rock music but i failed.
This one used EZdrummer DFH, and a Mesa/Boogie Studio Preamp direct with an impulse.

And again, don't be hatin' on the quality on theese things, they're as i said a few times just rough drafts most of times.

Cheers Knucklers! Hope ya like!

Very very nice tone, except for the last one(sounds like your driving the input of the interface way too hard). It's thick, percussive and articulate.

I like the 1st a lot, the others can't say much as I don't like death metal
