Dear all,
my 1st post to this forum, so I'll introduce myself briefly;
I'm a Tele player from Holland. I play electric guitar now for four years in a band situation. Covers, mostly pop and rock classics. For those who might be interested, have a look at http://inter-phase.nl/page/playlist/
OK here comes the question: two years ago I replaced my standard Tele pups for a set of Black Guard (Staggered 55). Quite satisfied with them. However, when I got myself a dirt cheap Squier CV Strat, I dropped in a set of Slow Hands, which got me really amazed. I really like the "thicker" tone of the Slow Hands, without losing the Strat character. I was just wondering if BKP would have a sort of Slow Hand Equivalent pup for Telecasters?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Cheers,
Chris

I don't have any specific knowledge about BKP's tele pickups, but I'm guessing that the Boss pickup would suit your needs. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will give their opinion soon.

yes, i agree: its 'The Boss'. Good and thick, but still a tele

The new BG50's are quite thick and fat, and have more output then the earlier serie, which is now the 52-set.

They might also be closer to the SH wrt/ frequency response, at least according to the new site's frequency response charts. The Slowhands are really heavy on mids and low ends (someting I can confirm from personal experience), while the Boss are somewhat mid-scooped.
