Title: Nailbomb engraved/Aftermath camo
Post by: DefGod on February 20, 2011, 11:32:17 PM
Nailbomb bridge/Aftermath neck

First of all I would like to know someone's opinion about this combination of pickups.
Has anyone tried this combination of pickups?

Second, I would like to know how much the color difference would be between engraved Nailbomb and Camo (any pickup). The picture of the Nailbomb seems brighter.

Hope someone knows
Would be really helpful :)

never tried the AM neck, so i'll answer just to the color thing... ;)
images give an idea, but don't represent the actual effect you'll got on your pickups... camo and distressed covers are all different. if you specify that the two pickups will be installed in the same guitar they'll be made as a couple, so they'll look similar.

here are some of my camo pickups... just to give you an idea of how different they can look from each other. the epiphone's were bought in different moments.

Thanks for your reply!
I get an idea from looking at your guitars. I love the matchup on your Mahogany LP!
So if I specify that I want 2 different pickups they'll make it match? Even if I want the engraved camo Nailbomb?
That would be great.

Yes, they will match the covers as closely as they can (the acid wash that creates the camo finish is a random process, so no two come out identically coloured and patterned).
