home demo version to test the various layers of guitars... everything is recorded using my PODxt, the "real" song will feature "real" guitars and - of course - vocals, but i should mix it more or less this way, i think.
every comment and suggestion on the mix (and on the song itself, if you want...) is HIGHLY welcome! there's a lot of errors, but this wasn't meant to be a real demo, just some working stuff for me and the other guys in the band (none of them appear in this recording, by the way)
oh, i forgot... drums are almost finished (and are awful, for that...), so we'll start recording guitars, bass and vocals quite soon!

oooops... i forgot!

this stuff has been recorded in various moments using different guitars... later i'll be more specific... the solo is played with a c-pig, that's for sure..
-
so... the first part was recorded using a C-Pig, except for the obvious neck lead - played with a neck PK (both in my Cicolin WR). solo, as i said before, is C-Pig, the trem-picking part as well as the closing "doom" riff is played with a Pig90 (LP studio), and the rest is A-NB (lead tone in the second part is classic Nailbomb tone!) with some C-NB overdub (Ibz SA2020 and Ibz S470).
i think that's all!
and, again, I'd REALLY like to know what you think about the mix (being a bit too crowded, but that's the way i like it... ;))...

Good song writing, I like it!! Melodic Death is my favorite.

you need a better drum machine man :) But damn i like the composition.. :)
-
thanks!
DM programming is quite better than most demo tracks i recorded, but it's just a demo. the actual song will sport real drums, if my drummer will ever be able to finish his g**damn job before i grow tired of these songs!
