Post by: Dmoney on February 23, 2011, 08:24:52 PM

I'm just importing straight from my built-in mic and camera but the audio sounds horrible.
am i missing something? (other than... "thats a dumb way to do it!")

do you have any other mics?

The best bet would be to record the video stream using the built in camera & the audio using a mic.

most programs will let you do this.

good plan. I tried again tonight, but I had to have the amp quiter. I stood pretty far away with my guitar though, however, the loudest thing on the record is my guitar strings, not the amp... which wasn't really true in the room.

I'll have to get my 58 back and dig out a jack to XLR I guess.

yeah it would definitely be better using a real mic even if its just a cheapo cr@ppy thing as internal mics on laptops in general are far too sensitive to anything even voice!
