Next time one of their vistors parks across my drive, who do you think should get the kicking, the neighbour or their visitor?
It's not like they can miss the three cars sitting there, so it's just ignorance.

try having a farmer leave his tractor in your gateway then disappearing over a mountain at 7 in the morning! then acting as if it's your fault for daring to have a driveway where he wants to stop his tractor :gib:

It's weird, I haven't driven for ages (well over ten years) so it took me a while to appreciate what you were talking about...
But I do seem to remember this sort of hassle and the stress it causes - and I'm guessing it's a lot more common nowadays...
The thing that p1sses me off is the idiots that park all over the pavement now. I have no feeling of guilt anymore if my bag scratches the paintwork or if the wing mirror gets clunked as I'm trying to squeeze through.

i have exactly the same attitude as you Andy. someone dumped a caravan outside our block, was there for a couple of months. it was absolutely lethal, because it was arranged such that you couldn't see past it when trying to cross the road.
nothing more rude than someone blocking off your drive way though

I have a similar problem. Neighbour had a new drive way built but as he and his wife have two cars, they park one on the drive then park the other where my family and I park our cars. It gets very annoying when there's not a lot of spaces for cars down our road so for him to not park outside his own drive way and taking up more space than he needs is just incredibly irritating and ignorant.
I sometimes just want to bump his car out the way with mine but I think he's got the idea that we're getting annoyed with him as he parks out the front of his drive now.

LOL. Thanks. I did the tuna thing to a drummer I really hated, but was forced to play with. He was so pissed off, kept washing his upholstery and had a few air freshening devices. I kept saying it must be his girlfriend's..... ummm. Anyways, I learned this from boyscouts, where we'd puncture a can and leave it in a box trap to catch animals, which we would release after shouting at them for a bit IIRC. My God, did it stink after 4 days in the sun. Don't do it with the white albacore, the cheap stuff in oil, not water. We switched to the tuna in water because we kept finding maggots in the oil cans left on the trap trigger for a few days.

The parking on pavements really gets me... I remember when we had our first baby, 9 years ago, and struggling onto busy roads with a buggy to get past cars parked up on pavements.
I used to be quite militant about it - I'd intentionally squeeze past the car and knock their wing mirror back just to make the point.

You know how there's the bird's mouth lookin kitchen tool you use to poke triangles in juice cans? Usually the other end of a bottle opener. Do that twice on the top and twice on the bottom with the holes lining up. Thread plastic zip ties through the can and attach somewhere. Just attach to the framing itself or whatever looks best. One zip tie leaves it rattling and found sooner than you want. Yeah, it's messy, but worth it. A lot of oil goes just in the installment, but plenty stays. Tuna works, but I'm sure anything meat based and in a can would rock his world as well. I haven't done this in a city. I imagine hordes of alley cats being attracted, reproducing and fighting all over the car.

I was thinking of the usual's... push dog poop under the door handles... or push popping corn up the exhaust into the muffler (dunno if that works).
I once cable tied "fake alloys" drawn on cardboard circles with maker pen onto my mates corsa, over his real alloys! ha. he didn't like that!
Pouring curry powder down the vents.

:lol: I like this one a lot because it's silly.
On a side note about the curry powder, I've heard of using dry clothes dye, but I think curries a bit less harsh. For the guy that parks too close, I used to carry a few of these printed out. Of course I only found out about the popular image by receiving one.

Actually, when I think of some of the practical jokes ive witnessed or been part of I do feel like a bad human. i WISH i had a photo of that carboard alloys though. two of use did that while our mate was asleep at the end of a house party. He had work in the morning and was really late because he got up late, then had to find some snips to cut off the ties before he could drive anywhere.
