Well I have to say when I first encountered him I got out quick because I don't like clever guitarists. But lately I've been revisiting and I've seen that no matter how much showmanship he's employing everything he does is so musical. He's partially sighted, hence the large dot markers on the signature PRS he had for a while...

I had the chance to see him up close a few years ago. Guitar Works (in Reading) had an evening with him when his signature model was launched. Stupidly I didn't go - for some reason I decided to play football instead. There were only about 20 other people there as well and he demo'd the guitar for a good 20 mins before spending time chatting to people.

Totally idiotic decision by me.
