I really like the look of these:

Great price too I reckon!

Worn white one looks very nice :)

Indeed, that's what I thought!
-
I like that.
Have Gibson got a new person in charge? Seems very out of the ordinary for them to actually release guitars that people might want ti buy and at a good price!

Nah!
They're still plugging the Firebird X on the Gibson homepage......

Haha! Tw@ts.
I reckon I could make them more profitable even though I have zero knowledge of running a company!

I like the worn natural, but I prefer the Les Paul Tribute to the SG, but that has mainly to do with ergonomics.
-
I like the black!
-
I like the Townsend vibe on those.
If you get one of those, your priority should be practicing windmills.
-
i really like these sg's, and the 50's and 60's Les Pauls that preceded them. desirable guitars at reasonable prices. what really bugs me is that they're limited editions. surely these should become part of the standard range? likewise the limited edition SG24, with it's 24 fret neck.
-
Liking that lots...
-
The SG Standard 24 is very cool. In fact I am feeling a bit of GAS...
It would be nice if they'd do an SG Custom version of the same - Customs only ever seem to be available from the Custom Shop*. And they always seem to have the slim-taper neck.
I'd go so far as to say they should actually make those extra two frets standard from now on - the SG always had room for them, and presumably they don't compromise the neck joint in any way.
(*The logical place to buy a Custom, I suppose..... )
-
I've always wondered about that Customs only from the Custom Shop bit. Doesn't seem to be a problem for Fender - unless I have got the wrong end of your stick so to speak.
-
mmm love the natural

Not sure, but I meant the SG Custom in the ebony board, block inlays, gold hardware sense! :)
They never seem to be available in the general production, sub-2,000-quid range.

I'd REALLY like one of these guitars. Shame that I have ZERO cash right now.
I love how back in the day they just stacked a load of Hiwatt heads up on a chair, Health and Safety would go NUTS for that today!
