So I am about to order some new pickups formy RR3 but I want to get some advice before i ship em out.
I was thinking of going with the Painkiller for the neck and Warpig for bridge. I play strictly metal, mostly melodeath and tech. I found that the warpigs cleans were just not organic enough and I like a really full sounding neck pickup. Would the painkiller work well with the warpig?

Alot of people like the nailbomb neck. Are you going for alnico or cpigs?

Ceramic of the bridge

I have a Painkiller in the neck of my custom guitar, and I think it sounds pretty sweet. The pick attack is intense, and I get a really tight sounding lead tone with a lot of sizzle.
I know a lot of people like a Coldsweat for the neck too. In my new custom axe, I will be getting an Aftermath in the bridge and a Coldsweat in the neck to try out.

Well. the cold sweat is my new favourite(apart from my custom :) )

i really love neck painkiller, but i wouldn't call it organic. well, it is, but there's a lot of choice in that field that could suit your taste better... just to understand better what you're looking for, if you want a full sounding pickup what's wrong with the warpig, for example?

The warpig neck is 100% thick, full and organic sounding. The Painkiller neck is quite the opposite, being bright, scooped and woody with a very tight and aggressive attack.

sure! i asked because he was saying that the warpig is not enough organic, so i don't think that a PK will help him... :)

... I know, I was agreeing with you!
Oh, I see where the confusion came from - when I said "This", I meant that I agreed with your statement. I've edited it for clarity :)

I have Aftermath ceramic neck. I love it! Full sounding, very quick attack, not harsh and not boomy, just fits perfect for my koa. Excellent clean and distorted sound.
For bridge I recommend you the Painkiller or Aftermath for fast technical metal riffing. The Warpig not enough quick and precise.
