Thinking of selling some of my guitars as we could do with the space. I work at home quite often and my home office is just jammed. No room to swing a cat - if I had a cat...
So - which ones do I sell/keep? My LP is not on the list as it is the only one that I really have to keep for sentimental reasons:
1996 Jap 54 Reissue Strat
1989 Orville By Gibson 1961 Reissue SG Standard
2002 PRS Custom 22
1987 Japanese Squire Strat (early E series one)
1990 Orville By Gibson Les Paul Standard
I am tempted to keep one Strat and the PRS and sell the rest but interested in other views.

Since you already keep the LP,it makes sense...i think :? For me,it's always difficult to sell my guitars..

As far as I'm concerned and since you already have a LP, I'd keep the SG and at least one of the strats. I just hate PRS so this would be the first to go anyway

The PRS and *the '87 Strat.
-
If you're keeping an LP then keep one of the Strats. A nice contrast, get rid of everything else and look forward to times of greater space and finances when you can start all over again.

This. Keep the '54 reissue and the Custom 22 :)
-
I'm no expert, but PRS guitars seem to be selling for rubbish money on eBay at the moment, whereas MIJ guitars seem to be just about holding their value.
So I agree, keep the '54 reissue Strat and the PRS.
(Errr....... is the ObG Les Paul a nice one?)

Not bad - I'll try to take some piccies!
-
You don't seem to be selling to raise cash, so just keep the ones you play most, I'd say.

I agree. But, think about keeping the Orvilles. They will be more collectible in ten years.

One of the Strats - because you have two. The 54 is rather hideous (IMO), the red squier is much nicer.
And then the Orville LP, because again you have another one there.

The ObG LP will be on the Bay tonight...

what made you jump that way matey?
-
Trying to maximise my savings pot and also I have a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard in the cupboard....
-
As this is largely led by space rather than finances, I'd keep the PRS and SG and sell the rest but use the money gained from the sale of those three to buy a nice Strat-style guitar.

ObG Les Paul - gone
Epiphone LP Junior - gone
ObG SG - on the Bay tonight....
Sniff.. sniff...
